Below you will find a letter from U.S. Comptroller General David Walker to Congressman Culberson (R-TX).  Since 1998 Mr. Walker has been the primary auditor of the U.S. government, and this letter highlights our steadily deteriorating financial situation.

Thank You!!! MUST READ
Thanks so much for shedding light on this!

Glenn Beck has had Mr. Walker on his show a few times recently, as you probably know, and the picture he paints about America's fiscal situation is a real wake-up call that EVERY honest American needs to hear.

Mr. Walker is the top accountant for the U.S. Government and is not a partisan. The message he is trying to send needs to be shouted from tops of every mountain.

America has, at best, 5 to 10 years to get its financial house "in order". After that, the govt will have NO CHOICE but to slash spending OR drastically increase taxes (or, most likely, BOTH). Guess which party would choose increased taxes over decreased spending?

The economic "deluge" is COMING!

Is this the first time?
Where was his letter in 2004 when President Bush was pushing for reform? This is four years late! And you note it is sent to a Republican. What party do you think is now in charge of spending money in Congress?
