Occasionally, I post political cartoons that illustrate an issue without the need of a lengthy description.  I feel this cartoon encapsulates the stimulus package perfectly.  It was featured in yesterday’s version on CongressDaily by National Journal.

The dead chimp cartoonist?
Funny, this was never an issue with the Republican Party when George Bush was at the helm. Selective outrage and still hypocritical defines the Party of Rush Limbaugh.

More military officers demand eligibility proof

Military officers from the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines are working with California attorney Orly Taitz and her Defend Our Freedoms Foundation, citing a legal right established in British common law nearly 800 years ago and recognized by the U.S. Founding Fathers to demand documentation that may prove - or disprove - Barack Obama's eligibility to be president.

One thing to keep a close eye on when the monthly non-farm payroll number are released, is the government section. That is the one place the government can manipulate. We get the next one on 3/6 at 8:30am EST; the number is expected to be a loss of -650k. I do not expect Obama and team to try to manipulate the figure yet, but if the number starts to improve that is the one line to watch. The government can always hire people, but unless they create a favorable economic environment, they cannot create private sector jobs.

Raelei's short on facts
Rep Congress Dow hits 14,000

Dem Congress Dow hits 6763.29

Harry "bullet Train" Reid is the Senate Majority Leader since January 2007

Nancy Pelosi has been Speaker Of the House since January 2007.

Barney Frank has been Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee since January 2007

ALL positions that go to the MAJORITY IN CONTROL.

Hmmm I see a pattern that facts are supporting!

Raelei exemplifies the lefty illogic...
...He's still stuck in the anchronistic BDS mode - so much so, that he fails to grasp how much he is defending his emperor B. Hussein O. for doing the worst of Bush policies in greater magnitude than Pres. Bush did. It's amazing what hatred combined with stupidity will do to a "human" mind.
