Yesterday, I offered an amendment on the House floor to the bill that funds all Federal Aviation Administration activities for the next 4 years. The amendment, in the obtuse world of Congressional parlance, is called a “motion to recommit.” Rather than tell you about it, I will let the roughly 8 minutes of debate speak for itself, and I have included the clip below.

The amendment failed by a vote of 263-154. Waste and corruption are alive and well in Washington.

But you already knew that.

Oink, oink, oink...
...Is Murtha airport the one where pigs fly?

But the lemings
But, still the voters in Murtha's district will not elect a Pub like a war hero, Russell. Yep, they will as with most districts return the socialist Dems to office and nothing except real re-districting reform will change that. With the Census in the hands of partisan Dems next year, nothing will change that.

Amazing! Just amazing that these
clowns are elected and then re-elected! The dem who rose in support of Murtha's air charter service seemed to think that the naming of the airport was serendipitous and that Murtha was being honored! Knowing how this boil on the rump of humanity works, there would have been no choice! And, of course, we should be pleased to fund the 6 or so weekly flights so these parasites can visit with the boil!

Wait till Dems run 4 office & try 2 spin
One thing we've learned, from all the Liberal false rhetoric and deceit, in order to seduce us into voting for them, is that you can't trust em! The 'first' time we voted, it's their fault, the second election, if we vote them back in, it's our fault! Kick the self-serving phonys out. It didn't help to give the undisciplined leftist so much Congress House power on top of electing the most liberal of all Senators ever, Obama, to be the President. Absolute power corrupts and leaves us all vulnerable. What were you short-sighted Obama groupies thinking? Standards for the Presidency have been greatly lowered! Thanks, empty'heads!

Murtha, get your hands out of our pocket
The airport to nowhere, like the bridge, only I don't hear Murthas Party etc., condemning him like they did Lady Sarah. She even stopped the bridge. While Murtha laughs all the way to the bank with our hard earned tax money, so his constituents will suport him and not a word or apology, shameful! Ex Democrat
