In my opinion, the best and most articulate Member of Congress, present company included, is Paul Ryan (R-WI). He is the Ranking Member of the Budget Committee, and a guest blogger here at the Greeneyeshade. Here is a 4 minute clip of his very powerful closing argument in last Wednesday’s debate.  Right below the video, I have included a link to his Op-Ed in today's edition of the Wall Street Journal.

The GOP's Alternative Budget - WSJ.com

President Obama offers us the option of European big government.

You mean the GOP "Fudget"?
Yeah, we're all waiting with bated breath on this one :P

The numbers crunchers already took a gander at the GOP 'fudget' and said it would cost $300 billion MORE to implement. So much for the 'fiscal conservative' branch of the GOP.

Raelei: Ignorant and Proud!
Only an ignoramus like yourself would say the GOP alternative was somehow suspect, while blissfully accepting the Democrat's budget as completely legit.

I know you're worried about how badly the Dems are doing right now.
I know you're disappointed in Obama.
I know he's embarrassing you.
Try not to make it so obvious.

Baited and hooked
The first budget outline the house leaders passed to the Speaker was just that, an outline. She took that and as usual blew it up on the front pages of America saying there was no substance. Hooked, there was intentionally no details in that folio purposely and she knew it. The Republicans, unlike Obama waited for their numbers to be run threw the CBOs wringer. The numbers coming in the Republican answer to socialism will be impossibible to refute, only to disinform for the Dems.

Psssst
Here's an insight for all the conservatives who call liberals "trolls" and say all they want to do is disrupt.

Congressman Campbell titled this entry, "The Republican Alternative Budget" and included a video clip of Rep. Ryan.

If you watch that clip, you'll see that he never references or even alludes to a Republican alternative budget.

See what
Did you see the 1100 pages of the stimulis package Frank, before you swallowed it hook line and sinker? Unless you are a tax lawyer you would not understand any of it. One more time, this id why the non-partisan CBO exists. They sit all day in little cublcles with caculators and lawbooks. They serve every adminitration. They are career civil servants, but that won't be good enough for the left nabobs of economic expertise. I am fully convinced now that these four or five regulars on this site who just take up blog space with no useful inputs are plants. No not Soros or ACORN paid hacks,I mean plants, like vegetables.
