Yesterday marked the last day of Fiscal Year 2009.  I think it is prudent to take a look back at this year in federal spending…

According to CBO, the federal government ran a $1.4 trillion deficit through the first 11 months of FY 2009.  Revenues are down, expenditures are up, and the federal government will borrow 43 cents for every dollar it spends in FY 2009.

The national debt now stands at $11.77 trillion, a 35.8% increase since Democrats took control of Congress in 2007.  To provide a frame of reference, this 33 month period has racked up more debt than the total debt accumulated by the federal government from 1789 to1989….In FY 2009 alone, the federal government ran up $1.75 trillion of debt.

Since the non-stimulating stimulus package became law, Speaker Pelosi, Harry Reid, and President Obama have not curbed their spending habits.  There is no question that Republicans foolishly abandoned their fiscal conservative roots during the past 8 years, but since taking over Congress, Democrats have turned a projected ten-year $800 billion surplus into a projected deficit of $7.8 trillion over the same period of time.  For you bean counters out there, that is an $8.6 trillion deterioration of the nation’s budget outlook in the 33 months since Democrats took control of Congress.

These numbers are staggering…they speak for themselves.

OBAMA FUMBLES SALES PITCH, BLAMES GOP
Obama fumbled his Socialized sales pitch and is now blaming the GOP.

What else is new?!!!

I've never seen a powerless party take as much blame as the Republicans have for the chaos and disorder the Democrats brought to Washington. It's laughable!

The truth is, Obama fumbled his Socialized sales pitch, just like Hillary did in 1993. Americans can spot a bad idea when they see one!

God Help the USA
I was not happy with how the Republicans and Bush spent money. These guys now are just plan nuts when it comes to spending money! I have no idea how the next few years will be but I expect not too good.

Seems like Obama is following
"First proposed in 1966 and named after Columbia University sociologists Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven, the "Cloward-Piven Strategy" seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse. "

Pikers
Those Redumblicans. Sheesh, don't even hold a candle to this guy's spending. 'Course, the Marxists use them as justification, which is like justifying the Holocaust because someone got stabbed in New York City.

Cloward-Piven Strategy -- SJA
In response to SJA (response #3 above), I think you are dead-on correct in your analysis comparing Obama's handling of America to the Cloward-Piven Strategy.

Not only doesn't Obama fix anyting, he makes every situation he touches worse (i.e. Iranian nuclear "meddling," stimulus package). Not to mention, he creates problems when there were none to begin with (i.e. CIA investigation).

Obama is not a "dumb" man per se either. Quite the contrary actually. He is very well spoken -- a liberal idealogue yes -- but it's hard for me to believe he doesn't recognize the damage he's inflicting on America with his policies. That's why I believe it's intentional.

Obama's thinking also seems cohesive with Saul D. Alinski's radical thinking as well. Obama is a Communist, trying to destroy capitalism and our representative democracy. Impeach.

I told you so.
I did the math and it didn't add up. I said so out loud. I was told: You're a racist, you're against hope and change. Now we are broke, and China owns us. Way to go Obama.

Wow. Just wow.
SJA, tip of the hat. I thought I had a pretty good handle on the left's organization, but I'd never heard of Cloward-Piven until your post. I've been looking for the real brains behind Obama for quite some time, knowing full well it wasn't Bambi himself. Thought it might be the Ayers/Rathke/Klonsky group, but they didn't seem quite smart enough. Doing some reading:

it looks like these guys are leading candidates.

A little more info
Cloward and Piven were husband and wife. Guess where the Missus got her Doctorate? University of Chicago, 1962. All roads.

Seems the more you read the more you realize what the plan is. This health care is a huge part of it. Notice how ofter we hear the word crisis from this administration. This guy and his group are very dangerous. I believe Obama is nothing more than the front guy, the talker, the campaigner. Doing some research on Jarrett, she is one bad dude.
