According to some of the most recent reports, it is clear that Senator Ted Stevens has indeed lost his bid for reelection for Senate in Alaska (read article here).

Yesterday, Rep. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) and I wrote a letter to the Chairmen of the Appropriations Committees in both houses, asking that they thoroughly review 39 earmarks that Senator Stevens recently garnered in the Continuing Resolution. In light of Sen. Stevens’ recent conviction on charges of corruption, these earmarks worth $240 million should be inspected before any action is taken to fund them. A copy of the letter can be found here.

Isn't Jeff Flake from Arizona?
Thank you for fighting the good fight.

Bob, take your little digs and go play on a freeway.

Bob
When is your party going to take up the ethics investigations into:
Dodd
Frank
Rangel
R. Wexler
Obama
Mahoney (oh yeah the voters took care of that!)
Jefferson's trial has been awfully delayed.

I'd tell you to look in the mirror but you're obviously blinded.

I sent emails
months ago to Ted Stevens telling him what i thought about how he spent "MY" money. I consider him one of the prime examples of why the Reps. lost this election. Too many of us were not only disgusted with our candidate but more than disgusted with "our" party which left its priorities in the dust of power-hunger.
I hate to see another Dem. get them closer to 60 but I had to cheer when I heard that the "Alaska Bandit" was beat!
